Lazarus Ministry
St. Paul’s Lazarus Ministry provides emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities and medical expenses for residents in the City of Alexandria. Volunteers interview clients who are experiencing unexpected economic hardships during in-person appointments or by phone.
Lazarus volunteers assist clients by talking with them about their situation and their current need. Clients are also provided with information about additional resources that may include food providers, employment and legal assistance.
